Cranky Chrissy Learns to Ice Skate
Cranky Chrissy Learns to Ice Skate
Christyne Daley had a wish: to see her story idea become a book. She shared her wish with Peter H. Reynolds, author and illustrator. The result is this special book - inspired by the true story of Chrissy learning to skate in the early 70’s.
This is a book about determination and resilience. It is about the power of love and what it enables us to do!
There was a special urgency of the project when Christyne learned that she had Stage 4 Cancer. She has bravely battled over the last year with the amazing medical team at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute - hence ALL proceeds of the book will be donated to Dana-Farber. Consider buying one for your local library and school.
Please allow a few weeks for delivery. We will coordinate to have Christyne sign the books. Thank you for your patience.
This edition of Cranky Chrissy is paperback. A hardbound edition will be made available later.
